The aim of De Poetsfiets is simple: to clean in a sustainable way. The company achieves this aim by using trikes and electric vehicles to get to its clients in the Belgian city of Ghent. This means zero CO2 emissions and no more getting held up in traffic. They also clean using Greenspeed's eco-friendly products and their employees wear clothes made from organic cotton.

Greenspeed is a European Cleaning and Hygiene Awards 2017 finalist in the "Sustainability - best practice in implementing principles throughout the business"-category. There were over 140 entries and the competition was very tough, but Greenspeed was judged to be among the very best entrants. The award winners will be announced at a gala dinner at the Parco dei Principi Grand Hotel in Rome on 9 November. Speaking of the achievement, Greenspeed, CEO, Michel de Bruin said: We are delighted to be finalists in this category. Greenspeed's Circular Cleaning concept is proven in practice, a real market challenger, and leads the industry towards total sustainability and minimalizing its impact on the environment.
