Proud member of the B Corp community
Greenspeed has always taken a "green" approach - it's in our DNA!
We're therefore very proud to have joined the B Corp community in August 2024. This important milestone confirms that we meet the stringent social and ecological standards in line with our mission: cleaning the world with care, together.
FOR A POSITIVE IMPACT ON PEOPLE AND THE WORLD AROUND US.
WAT IS B CORP?
B Corp is an accreditation of companies that really make a difference. The “B” in B Corp stands for “Benefit for all”. These companies meet high standards in terms of social and environmental performance, responsibility and transparency. The non-profit organisation behind the B Corp certificate is B Lab.
B Corp companies aim to make a profit, but also want to make a positive contribution to society and the environment.
Why B Corp
What does it mean for you?
B Corp looks at the bigger picture: how you treat employees, your impact on the environment, and how transparent you are with customers and partners.
To become a B Corp, you must demonstrate that sustainability and social responsibility are deeply embedded in your organization. You do this by scoring at least 80 out of 200 points across five areas: governance, employees, community, environment, and customers.
Greenspeed scored 82.5 points — a great start to our journey toward making an even bigger impact.
The future is green
How do we make a positive impact?
We use locally sourced, renewable raw materials and produce our detergents in an eco-friendly factory in France. Our microfiber products clean effectively with minimal water usage.
At Greenspeed, we believe in the power of nature and avoid harsh, harmful chemicals. Additionally, our detergents are biodegradable, with minimal impact on aquatic life. For our bottles, we use 75% plant-based plastic and 25% recycled plastic.
By 2030, we aim for a B Corp score of 90. How will we achieve this? By certifying our entire range as Cradle to Cradle, powering all our production with green energy, and switching to 100% recycled materials in our textile and plastic components.
